· SAT Preparation Classes-Met twice a week for three hours each time and reviewed and studied every aspect of the test.
· UC Berkeley Shadow Day- took a tour around the campus and attended some workshops where they talked about the process of applying to their school and their requirements.
· L.A. Educational Trip-Participated in a weeklong trip to the southern part of California to tour some of the major colleges around that area.
Work Experience:
· Baby-Sitting: 2003-2005-At my house- Babysitting during the afternoons and during summer. My duties where to bath, clothe, feed and sleep the baby at the time that her parent had told me.
· Construction Electrical Products-Dublin: Summer of 2006- Electrical Company. My duties were to cut and strip cables to a precise size. This job taught me responsibility and punctuality.
· McDonald’s- Oakland: March 2007-Present- Cashier.
Extracurricular/Volunteer Activities:
· Drama-We performed a full production and we attended to various plays. Met two times’ a week for two and a halve hours after school to practice exercises of dictation and movement.
· Soccer -Met two times a week and attended to games every Saturday.
· Student Council-We planned out events and fundraisers.
· Math Tutor- Frick Middle School- helped children two hours per week with math problems to understand their homework.
· Save the Bay-Went to the Oakland shoreline and helped plant plants and educate ourselves of the major pollution caused to the water of the bay.
· Church Volunteer- Volunteer once a week for three hours to the church program. Help children with their religious classes and homework.
